MILO in2CRICKET is Cricket Australia's National Junior Development Program for boys & girls aged 5 - 8 years that can help secure the future of your club or association by recruiting new participants & volunteers! Cricket NSW assists Cricket Australia with the roll out of in2CRICKET in NSW and provides each in2CRICKET club with various levels of support to help you run the program.
in2CRICKET involves a 6 to 12 week club-based coaching program that uses a wide variety of skills & activities to emphasise fun & involvement! It is a great way to introduce the skills of cricket to kids before they start in playing in your club's underage competitions. The in2CRICKET program is VERY flexible and can be customised to suit the needs of the club, in2CRICKET coordinator & participants.
in2CRICKET can either be run on an afternoon or evening during the week, or on a morning over the weekend. Cricket Australia provides a detailed Coordinator Manual that outlines recommended activities for each 1 ½ hour session, making it user-friendly for anyone to run!
in2CRICKET has been developed as a two-tier program, in2CRICKET Have-A-Go & in2CRICKET Have-A-Game. in2CRICKET Have-A-Go is the first tier where younger children new to the game can begin. in2CRICKET Have-A-Game caters for those children who have already participated for a few seasons and after a new challenge. At both tiers of in2CRICKET, participants will receive a giveaway pack and the cost of both are the same ($50 per participant).
