Clubs of the SSJCA

Loftus is the smallest of the clubs drawing from a limited area and sandwiched to some extent by the two Engadine based clubs and St Patrick's at Sutherland. It first participated in the 75/76 season and was a member until 87/88, dropping out in 88/89 only to re-emerge in 1999/2000. More noted for its performance in the senior association it has however encouraged junior cricket and registered and developed teams as circumstances have permitted. Due to its small base it has tended to lose cricketers to the larger clubs as players grow older and look to play at the higher levels.
