The Miranda Magpies have a proud tradition in both Junior and Senior Teams stretching back to the club's first season in 1956. We strive to be a family club where playing cricket is a fun experience for everyone.

What a magnificent season for the Mighty Miranda Magpies Cricket Club!

The highlights were:

• 16 teams . 9 Junior, 7 Senior
• Sponsorship from the Tradies
• 4 Premierships . Juniors 16C & 12B; Seniors B6 & B8
• Our first 16A team in 5 seasons
• Most number of Rep players for many seasons
• Mat Andrews, Luke Wright & Mitch Reidy all passed 1,000 career runs for the club
• The juniors won 16 Association Awards
• Improved training facilities with the introduction of the club funded bowling machine
• Chris Easton again co-ordinated a huge fundraiser via the Cricket NSW raffle
• Seeing many fathers & sons take to the field together has been a pleasure to watch . long may it continue!

The support for the club again came through from the Coaches, Captains & Managers who contributed their time to get the teams on the field. The Office Bearers this season were fantastic, particularly Chris & Brian who did so much behind the scenes. Our registrars, Sinead & Glen, did a magnificent job to get the teams together.
