Clubs of the SSJCA

St Patricks Sutherland Cricket Club is proud to be an SSJCA foundation club with a history that pre dates the 1957 junior competition beginnings.

In 2009/2010 St Pats fielded 19 SSJCA teams catering to boys & girls with varying skill levels (A grade to F grade), we also fielded an all girls team in the SRGCA and 10 senior teams in the SSCA competition, making St Pats once of the largest cricket clubs in the Shire, with training facilities based at the Waratah oval complex.

Our club motto is "To Have Fun" whilst our coaches encourage & development junior skills in areas of catching, throwing, bowling & batting.

Introducing cricket as a participation sport to juniors, is something St Pats has been involved in for over 50 years. Many hard working players have achieved representative honors but the greater majority play for the enjoyment of the game and friendships made. Many of those cricketing friendships continue past junior cricket & into seniors. St Pats is a family club & encourages the progression past U16's to senior cricket. In the Men's competition we have many father & son/s team combinations.

Over the last 3yrs our junior teams have enjoyed Premiership success in the 12A, 12E, 12F, 10C & 10F SSJCA competitions, whilst our U14's won the 2008 & 2010 Cricket NSW Michael Clarke Twenty/20 competition.

We welcome new players to come & enjoy the game of cricket.
