Representative Cricket
U10 Development Squad
SSJCA runs a U/10 Development program in preference to entering a team into the Foster Shield. We have conducted the development squad for a number of years and are pleased with the results it has shown for the following years rep teams.
24 players are selected after a selection trial. These players then receive specialised coaching focusing on batting, bowling and fielding over a number of Sunday's. At the conclusion of the program, the players are split into 2 teams and compete against each other under Rep Cricket conditions. To wrap up the season, in previous years, the players have travelled to the SCG to play or train at the facilities, a highlight they will remember forever.
